Movie Mandates: Dog Day Afternoon (Mea Culpa)

Play

Welcome to Movie Mandates, a review show in which sibling cinephiles Andrew and Keleigh force each other to watch movies according to a monthly theme!  We’re not sadists.  We’re not trying to torture ourselves or you so every movie we mandate is mandated in good faith.  We never try to pick bad movies but sometimes we mess up.  Well, that’s what Mea Culpa month is for!  It’s our opportunity to apologize for sucky mandated movies with a different film that hopefully doesn’t suck!

Last year I mandated When Worlds Collide for Disaster Movie Month.  It wasn’t very good.  So, to make up for it, I’ve mandated Dog Day Afternoon, a movie about the most disastrous bank robbery this side of Quick Change!
