I am a bit curious in regard to Eggmans badniks in the IDW comic: Like do all run on small animals? Even the ones that used not to like Egg Pawns and the other bots from Sonic Heroes? Which games are you not allowed to take badniks from? Either way keep up the good work!
With issue #29, discourse around a certain character has flared up. While I think it was a bit of an overreaction given the context, it feels like Tails as a character has gotten very little respect recently. What are your thoughts on his role in the franchise?
What’s the population of New Mobotropolis? Don’t need to get too specific, a rounded up number will do just fine.
So, just how much NSFW Sonic literature have YOU written, Ian? Don’t worry, we’re all friends here. It’ll just be between you, me, and the internet. P.S: I am so sorry, Kyle forced me to ask you this, I’m just the messenger.
Ian, how familiar are you with the Ratchet & Clank series? I’m asking this cause it’s my favorite video game series and franchise overall next to Sonic, and I think you would be an amazing writer for it especially with it’s over the top humor and action if the series went back into comics. IF you know about the series, how would you make it into a comic story wise, or would you just adapt the games into a comic?
Hey Ian, if the name of Sally’s brother were to be changed so that it’s not an anagram of her name, should his name be “Elijah” or “Timothy”, or do you have another name in mind?
3 years ago ian you said that idw bring back and completing older runs of fan favorite comics like pre reboot and post reboot Archie Sonic could it do the same with sonic the comic?
In the wake of the metal virus saga, I was wondering what each of your favourite zombie games and/or movies are?
How did you two meet, and how did the idea for the podcast come about and get executed?
one of the egg bosses I was really interested in was Nephthys since she raised an interesting point as to how Sonic and Eggman feud with each other causes so much destruction for everyone stuck in between. What happened to Nephthys that led her to this way of thinking? And is the point she raised to Sonic would have been something that would be further explored in which we meet more characters [that] aren’t allied with the freedom fighters or Eggman empire, they simply just want to survive the ongoing war.
Was there ever a name for the potentially fatal disease Cassia contracted that disabled some of her senses and caused Clove to seek Eggman’s help?
Hi, Ian and Kyle. The Metal Virus Saga has been so exciting and it’s bittersweet to see it come to a close, but I wanted to ask about Sonic himself in all of this. In Sonic Battle, Sonic has a technique called Sonic Heal where he vibrates his body (like the Flash) to heal himself. Seeing as Gemerl exists in the IDWverse, it’s safe to assume Battle is canon to this verse as well, and that technique as well. Is there a reason Sonic never attempted to use the technique, on panel or off? Was there a reason it wouldn’t have worked while his running did? Or did you forget/leave it out for narrative purposes?
