Heh, that must suck. All my characters had 9999 HP, 999 TP (except Chester), all possible skills, and almost all ultimate weaponry. I think the only thing I was missing was the Hyper Gauntlet, and that just wasn't worth it.

Dammit, now I need to go replay it... maybe after I play Zelda II.

Tales of Phantasia has just been announced for a North American release date of March 6th; this is the PSX version ported to GBA, released a couple years ago in Japan and finally being localized for the English-speakers.

Oh, hell yeah. Even cooler is the fact that this is only a month off from the release date of this project.

POTENTIAL release date, that is. Who knows what might happen?

I do know I'm gonna have to pick up ToP, though.

Apparently the names are being translated; specifically, Cless and Klarth are supposedly now Cress and Claus.

I know that Cless was more or less meant to be Cress (to go with Mint) from the start, but... ugh.

Oh, right. Sorry. I might have to ban myself, and that just wouldn't be cool.

I think I heard the release date was March 6th for ToP on GBA. Confirm/Deny, anyone?

I can't confirm the release date, but a friend of mine pointed out that Claus is German; if pronounced correctly, it wouldn't be "klawz," but "clowss," which already sounds a lot more like Klarth (and a fair bit cooler).

At least Chester is still the same.

I just watched a short gameplay vid. The voices are... strange, especially comparing Arche's high cutesy Engrish "FIYABAARU!" to this several-octaves-lower pouty-bored "Fireball..."

Cless (sorry, Cress) at times sounded like some kinda porn actor. Time for Sonic Trust jokes.

I felt kinda obligated to buy the game, given that I'm running this project and all. :P An accurate, official translation is nice to have now, at least.
