As some of you may have read in the shoutbox, once ATW is released, I am stepping away from album project production for awhile (Okay, so I ended up being a liar...) I will still be maintaining these forums and offering them to projects that desire forum space outside of OCR, but I myself will not be directing any projects (EXCEPT THAT I AM.) If you want your album released here, I am also open for coordinating release details, but the remixes, artwork, and website design will all have to be handled by your project staff.
Here's what I can offer you:
-Forums for your project during its creation phase. These forums aren't going anywhere.
-Advice or other advisory comments if you so desire, such as listening to songs and providing feedback or discussing solutions to problems such as due dates, drama, direction, collaboration, recruitment, etc.
-I can steer you in the direction of web designers, remixers, artists, or other necessary project personnel, if needed.
-MP3/FLAC file tagging (I have the same formatting guidelines Larry uses for OCR releases), and other necessary release coordination. I can even get a team together and "evaluate" your album if you want to check it for quality control reasons, but this will never be an NGI release requirement unless there are obvious quality issues with a majority of the album.
-Once your project is set for release, I can offer hosting for your website and the music itself in whatever formats you prefer, promotion through the KNGI website and KNGI web shows, emailing of press releases to news outlets, blogs, etc.
Essentially, I can act as a kind of producer for anyone who desires it. If you want to have your album hosted and released by NGI, or you just need help with something, I am totally open and able to help. I won't handle the production side of albums, unless you're really having trouble with it and need someone to step in temporarily and get things back on track, but I will not take over a project permanently at this time.
