Update on October 14th, 2010

Hey guys,

It's that time of year again.

I'll get right to it: Yesterday I received notification that the yearly renewal for this site is due. Now things are a little better than last year, but money is still a bit tight and I've been getting screwed over on getting my financial aid loan for school. I'm working on getting that, but I'm coming here to you guys because in order to keep this place in business at this moment, some help would be much appreciated. Now you can all say "no, fuck you Kyle!" but if you are willing to help, then we can continue having this resource for remix projects.

I will need $107.40 to renew the site for another year. I will be willing to reimburse everyone who donates after I receive my loan. If you do want to help, just go to the main page at http://www.kngi.org/. On the left side is a link to Donate to my PayPal account, or you can just use my email at KyleJCrb(at)gmail.com. If you're interesting in alternate method from PayPal, just let me know and we can work something out. Everything will be appreciated, even if you can only spare a dollar. Thanks, everyone.

Your holiday present comes early from me this year. I just donated funds to keep this up til your next payments are due. I need no big thanks for my donation, as you're definitely doing me, and the rest of the projects hosted here, an extremely valuable service and providing resources to get our dream projects out into the world.

Keep these forums pumping, my friend.

...Steven, thank you so much, man.

Seriously.

Wow. You know you really didn't HAVE to donate the full amount. But still, thank you. Let's keep these projects goin'!

Or relying on BOTH WICs and Food Stamps...

EDIT: Actually if you were Mexican you probably would be using both.

Didn't even gave me enough time to click on the donate button.
In all fairness this place should be renamed SGI for Stevo's Generosity Inc.

I swear, that man is Santa Claus... with the beard and all?
Come on: it has got to be him.

If you still want to donate, feel free (there's also ads on the main site if you want to help but can't/don't want to donate): All funds will go towards keeping the site and the NGI podcast going. I can always add more months through my host. Don't feel obligated to do anything, however. I will continue to keep this site up as best as I can.

:) I, in no way, wanted to discourage people from donating. I completely encourage it, so that way he can keep this site up LONGER than just another year for all of us and not have to worry about it. But I can't help myself sometimes. I am like ninja.

/cue small speech about donating/

It takes a lot of time, personal investment, upkeep, and money to keep any kind of website up and running in a functional manner *coughVGMIXX*cough*. I would tell everyone that they should donate what they can to the websites they use the most, like OCR, thasauce, KNGI, whatever! Obviously, it is not smart or advised to put yourself into a financial hole at the cost of donating, so if you don't have the money, it isn't a concern. But, if you do have some spare funds, whether it's a dollar or a million, every bit donated counts, and shows the site-runners their efforts are appreciated in more than just words.

/end speech/

And I am at Ailsean-length beard right now. Though, come the holiday season, it will definitely be long enough to throw flour on and become hobo-claus, the remixing christmas monster from doom.

Edit: damnit, Kyle, you usurped my speech! Oh well, I used more words in my essay, so I'll get a better grade from the teacher.

Knowing that Stevo got all bases covered for kngi, I'd rather have funds send towards keeping you and jen going.
I know what its like to struggle to live decently, especially when you're young. So expect a little something from me soon.

'Soon' translates to 'approximately 6 month later' in european time.
Better late than never, I hope that still helps.

It's time we declare May as support KNGI month.
Stevo, put your Santa costume back on. We've got work to do!

In before Stevo.

Also, I will not lend you any money. Maybe donate, but not lend.
