Today featured a sudden return of TrueStar! So we talked, a lot! I also recapped Sakura-Con 2013, which just happened this weekend. Lots of interesting things to talk about there

Went solo again this week due to TrueStar having an extra long physics lab today. Today’s objective was to clear out the requests backlog, since last week I had A BIT OF A SPECIAL if you know what I mean. So I played all the requests that have been building for about 2 weeks now, and I feel pretty good. Pretty normal show today! TrueStar was along for the ride again and we discussed next week’s show, the big 1 year Touhou Tuesday anniversary! We also marveled at the amount of porn being tossed around in the chatroom during the show, even throwing some in ourselves [really, TrueStar?]. There’s a new DDRKirby(ISQ) track out that covers Lullaby of Deserted Hell, and I’m glad to see OC ReMix posting more Touhou stuff, as it’s the website that got me into music in the first place, so long ago. The fact that it’s still a valid website these days, actually even bigger, is pretty impressive. We also played some elegant Cirno & Parsee themes near the beginning thanks to them winning round 2 of Gensokyo’s Next Top Model. Read on for the playlist!

Hooray! It’s the special where both TrueStar and I have nearby birthdays. My birthday is on the 3rd of February, and TrueStar’s is on the 6th, and 3+6=⑨ huhuhuhu Anyway I asked TrueStar what we should do for today’s show, and she jokingly said that we should play all Cirno arrangements. I accidentally took her seriously, so we have 2 full hours of nothing but arrangements of “Beloved Tomboyish Girl” from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Also, at the same time, several amazing things are happening! First the big news, ZUN is finally coming to America! He will be a guest of Anime Weekend Atlanta in September. Yes, I know Touhou isn’t an anime! Second, on the other side of the world, the Touhou VN [Vietnamese] Community is having a style contest! Vote for Gensokyo’s most fashionable youkai in “Gensokyo’s Next Top Model!” On to the playlist. Can you handle all this ⑨?

Merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone! This will be the last Touhou Tuesday show of the year. Unfortunately, due to a recording error, there are no talking segments for this podcast at all. It was also pre-recorded on Christmas Eve since TrueStar and I were both busy for the holidays. I did put together a nice Christmas playlist with some GREAT suggestions from the listeners, and I hope you guys like it too! Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell… okay actually I do need to clean up a bit. Today was going to be the day TrueStar returned to the show, however her computer being broken complicated things just a bit. This really sucked, but the show must go on. I discovered some new good circles thanks to listener requests, like CrossGear and Tennenjemini. I also talked about a possible Christmas show, snow, and other miscellaneous things.
