Larry’s working hard prepping for his trip to the Tokyo Game Show, so Ian Flynn steps into the co-hosting role, making his fifth appearance on Nitro Game Injection! Ian and Kyle of course talk shop and catch up on Sonic and Mega Man comics while grooving to the smooth tones of a very jazzy playlist featuring tracks from Sir Jordanius, T-Square, DJ-AKX, Hat, The Runaway Five, and many more. Suraida also FINALLY makes her grand return halfway through the episode, and Kyle takes Larry’s role and tries to convince Ian and Suraida that they NEED to go to MAGFest (especially if he manages to go!)

Open Circuit returns to Arecibo Radio after a Christmas break with a jam packed show featuring brand new songs from chiptune-influenced artist halc, St. John’s, Newfoundland’s own progressive rock gods Surgeon, and video game cover band extraordinaire Temp Sound Solutions, as well as tracks from the recently released Ubiktune compilation, Up.  This show also takes a look at some of the bands and chiptune artists performing at MAGFest 9 (Jan 13 – 16 in Alexandria, VA!  BE THERE!).
