It’s time for the annual winter show here at Nitro Game Injection! Along with some great music to get in the spirit of the season, Kyle and Larry give away a veritable slew of Steam game codes courtesy of the Humble Bundle, as well as the generosity of OC ReMixers DusK and CrimsonZeal! Larry handles his laundry duties, and “The Lady” Paige makes another cameo at the end of the show to tell us about how awesome turkey chili and RANDOM.ORG are. Featuring music from xoc, CZ Tunes, Sir_NutS, ansgaros, norg,  Captain Tortilla, Level 99, and more!

This week, Kyle, Larry and Slider check out entries from July’s Dwelling of Duels competition, tracks from albums released at the Comiket 80 doujin convention, and the usual round of music from OverClocked ReMix, KWED, and more. Also, Audi “Akumu” returns as Nitro Game Injection pays tribute and respects to the life and career of Japanese composer Ryu Umemoto, who unfortunately passed away on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011. They talk about his life, inspiration, and the legacy that left his undeniable mark on the world of video game music (discussion begins at 1:43:45. )

Larry also provides an art challenge for Slider this week, inspired by the awesome indie hit game Bastion: The Kid’s Name.

After several guest appearances leading up to this point, Slider makes the logical jump and joins NGI as an official, semi-permanent co-host! She will be appearing on future episodes along with Kyle and Larry, bringing some much needed class to Nitro Game Injection.
