This week, NGI welcomes legendary composer Grant Kirkhope as part of an episode paying tribute to his career as a composer for critically-acclaimed Rare titles like Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, and Donkey Kong 64, as well as the recently-released Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning from Big Huge Games. Grant speaks extensively with Kyle, Larry, & Slider about his work on Amalur, as well as sharing his thoughts on his time with Rare and giving some background on the soundtracks for Banjo-Kazooie and Goldeneye, as well as sharing the history behind the infamous DK Rap. He also weighs in on the pepperoni debate from NGI’s Meat Special: you’ll have to listen to hear what his verdict is!
