Here’s a first: Open Circuit gets cut off by an open circuit!  High winds brought a power outage and with it a sudden end to this week’s show.  Thankfully, the show was near the conclusion anyway, so you still get over two hours of music, featuring tracks from the latest ubiktune releases from virt, Joshua Morse, and subPixel, live recordings of experimental rock band Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra and chipmusic legends Chromelodeon and Anamanaguchi, and some 80′s synthpop flavored music from Miami Nights 1984 and Mitch Murder.

Technical issues are nothing new for Open Circuit, but a blue screen error in the middle of a live show?  That’s a first!

This week, Open Circuit once again patches a Nintendo Entertainment System in to the radio stream to bring you some hardware renditions of some of his favorite entries from Famicompo Mini Vol 8.  As well, jmr continues riding the MAGFest high as he sifts through the CDs he purchased and plays music from Rekcahdam, Chipocrite, Bit Brigade, and more.

Continuing from where we left off last week, this episode of Open Circuit shines the spotlight on MAGFest’s Saturday concert lineup.  We’ve got tracks from every act that played the Main Stage, the Second Stage, and the two chip music shows, including new music from Minibosses and The OneUps, the debut performance of Those Who Fight, tracks from Open Circuit regulars Autoscroll and Animal Style, and Nobuo Uematsu himself leading the Earthbound Papas in a performance of a Final Fantasy 7 favorite.
