Amanda Lepre, acclaimed solo artist and guitarist for the game cover band Descendants of Erdrick, Final Fantasy-themed rock opera group Those Who Fight, and the brand new Protomen parody cover band The Protomans will be joining Nitro Game Injection on April 29th, 2012! She’ll be appearing to talk shop about herself being in ALL THE BANDS, sloths, gaming, and more! Amanda will be part of a special focused on the women of video game music,  both in composition and remixes/arrangements. As NGI powers toward its 200th episode, they’re getting some major events lined up! Jay Pavlina will be a very special guest on Nitro Game Injection this Sunday, January 29th! Jay is a filmmaker, musician, and the developmental genius behind the Flash game that makes gamer dreams come true, Super Mario Bros. Crossover. He’ll be joining the NGI crew to talk about the mindblowing new game update coming soon, as well as sharing more details behind development of the game, as well as other projects that he’s working on with his production company Exploding Rabbit. You don’t want to miss this!

Nick Burgess, former host of video game music radio show Super Radio X and member of Mega Man cover duo Project X (who have gone on to create original music under the names Clawjob and Hex Map) will be returning to the airwaves after nearly a decade for an interview with the crew of Nitro Game Injection! Nick will be joining in to talk about his new music projects, as well as reminisce about the old days of lo-fi streaming video game music from a college radio station. Be sure to check it out LIVE at 5PM Eastern on Arecibo Radio!

ALL OF KNGI will be attending MAGFEST! That’s right; KyleJCrb, Liontamer, & Suraida of Nitro Game Injection, jmr of Open Circuit, TrueStar and virt of Noise Channel, and OverCoat of Radio OverCoat will be at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD  from January 5th through the 8th, along with many other Arecibo Radio show hosts and staff members! Be sure to join them on Friday at 3 PM in Panel Room 5, where they will be combining forces with the 8bitX Radio Network to host Too Ugly For YouTube, a video game music radio panel! They’ll be cruising around the show throughout the weekend, so if you recognize any of their voices, be sure to stop ‘em and say hello!

First up, on Saturday, December 17th at 9 PM Eastern Time, KyleJCrb will be hosting his annual Holiday Special Show as an episode of GameFuel! Tune in for over 3 hours of game-inspired winter music and GOOD versions of classic holiday tunes!

On Sunday, December 18th at 5 PM Eastern, Larry and Suraida join Kyle for a special BadAss-inspired Nitro Game Injection! They’ll be checking out some excellent boss themes, as well as talking to project director The Joker about BadAss Volume 1 and what’s in store for Volume 2!

AND FINALLY on Tuesday, December 20th at 9 PM Eastern, join the NGI crew for an encore show before the holidays with a Winter-inspired episode, featuring a playlist of selections from all three hosts, who will be spreading some holiday cheer!
