Nitro Game Injection and OverClocked ReMix are proud to announce the release of OCR’s 28th arrangement album, Super Dodge Ball: Around the World. This album, co-directed by Kyle Crouse (KyleJCrb) and Alan Bish (Murmeli Walan), features a variety of musical styles from a diverse lineup of musicians, paying homage to the classic 8-bit dodgeball game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

“With 19 arrangements from 25 artists, we pay tribute to Kazuo Sawa’s amazing Super Dodge Ball soundtrack with an eclectic mix of ethnic, metal, nerdcore hip-hop, new age, hardcore trance, and orchestral music. I am very proud to have assisted Walan in putting together an album that I feel is very consistent and fun to listen to. I hope everyone enjoys checking out Around the World!,” said Kyle.

Nerdapalooza is an annual two-day music concert featuring chiptune artists, video game cover bands and remix artists, hardcore hip-hop, and more. The event is directed by the Nerdapalooza crew, which includes John Carter, Michael Evans, and Game Music 4 All Administrator Anthony “genoboost” Ruybalid. The concert will be July 11-12th, 2009, at the Orlando International Drive Resort Holiday Inn. The show will feature performances from Dual Core, I Fight Dragons, Krondor Krew, Beefy, Superpowerless, and many more. New acts are being added often, so watch  Nerdapalooza’s official blog for updates.

Nerdapalooza also has a UK counterpart, created and organized by co-host of GM4A’s Letters Vs. Numbers Podcast, Stevie “MisterB” Brunton. A 2009 date for Nerdapalooza UK has not been scheduled at this time.

Well folks, it’s been a long wait, but SoS is finally out! Thanks to the remixers, fans, and even the decriers for your support, and we hope you enjoy our little tribute album to Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia. Be sure to post over at the OCR thread and let us know what you think!

MAGFest (Music And Games Festival) is a US-based video game convention, hosted annually by Brendan Becker (who is a good friend of NGI and was featured in Show #102). The con features console game tournaments, a huge LAN party, panels by well-known members of the game industry, and sales booths, but arguably the largest draw to the show is the amazing live VGM concerts put on every year.

In 2008, the show will feature the triumphant return of MAGFest/VGMix superband The Smash Brothers and electronica gurus Wave Theory, along with two incredible bands new to the show this year, The Advantage and Select Start. Performing artists also returning from previous MAGFests will be Arm Cannon, Powerglove, and This Place is Haunted. The concerts will take place on Friday and Saturday night of the convention, and will feature 8-bit special effects by No Carrier and NoteNdo.

MAGFest runs from January 3rd to the 6th of 2008 at the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia. Don’t miss this huge weekend of live video game music performances!

Ese (Jesus is Dead) – Rock n Roll Overload
Ese who at C72 released a Rance doujin cd is back with a new cd with a blend of various game arrangements that are sure to be hard rocking

It’s going to be a very good Christmas for doujin, with both MAGFest and C73 around the corner.

Comiket 73 will run from December 29th to December 31st.
