FAQ

  1. Nitro Game Injection? What the hell does that mean?
Nothing, really. It’s something that was randomly conceived on the night of March 16th, 2003. At least it’s memorable and it makes a cool acronym.
  2. Who’s the character in the artwork for NGI?
KyleJCrb’s original character, Ariane (artwork by Suraida, full piece viewable here.) She was created based on the concept of reploids from Capcom’s Mega Man X.
  3. Why is the quality of the episodes prior to #100…er, lacking?
It’s okay, you can say they suck. Which they do. Don’t listen to them. Kyle had no idea what he was doing or how to be a captivating host, so it’s not advised to attempt to listen to these shows. You’ll just want to bore into your ears with a power drill. Trust us.

Kyle has no formal broadcasting experience or education, and it likely shows. He is also, unofficially, an OverClocked ReMix staff member, previously working on the Summoning of Spirits Tales arrange album, and now helping put together Around The World, the Super Dodge Ball remix project.

In the past he was host of his own radio show, VG Frequency, but after a long hiatus, has now returned to the broadcasting seat with Nitro Game Injection. He is also focused on his blog and is a big proponent of the Twitter phenomenon.

N. “Suraida-Chan” Carbo

Born: 1984

Site: DeviantART

Suraida is an artist who draws pretty pictures, usually of Mega Man-inspired original characters, and is a big fan of the Mega Man, the Sonic, the Mario and the Pokeymans. In what may be the quickest case of Ascended Fangirlism ever, she was a regular listener of NGI for only a few months before Larry made the suggestion that she be a guest co-host. She agreed, and due to demand from the fans, has become a part-time co-host of the show. Kyle & Larry regularly give her sketch art challenges during the show, which you can check out here.
