GameFuel is a weekly dose of hard-hitting music, particularly of the videogame and videogame-inspired variety, also featuring chiptunes and other original works. It is a continuation of Nitro Game Injection’s pre-episode 100 format and is hosted by KyleJCrb. Tune in weekly on Saturday nights at 9 PM Eastern, only on Arecibo Radio!
- GameFuel? Isn’t that a Mountain Dew marketing gimmick?
No, that’s Mountain Dew Game Fuel. Totally different. (Call us, Pepsi. )
- Why are the first few episodes called Nitro Injection, both on the air and in the MP3 tags?
The show was originally called Nitro Injection, but to prevent confusion with Nitro Game Injection when that show was brought to Arecibo Radio, KyleJCrb decided to change the name.
- Who is the character in the GameFuel artwork?
KyleJCrb’s original character, Dixileta. The art is by Eriance, and she is based on the reploid concept from the Mega Man X series of games by Capcom.
- Do you take requests?
YES! Go to the Arecibo Radio chatroom or post your request to Kyle on Twitter or Facebook and he will usually be happy to play it. Keep in mind however that some episodes have special themes or limitations, and in these cases your requests must fit the requirements to be played. Most of the time.
